It was great to both get and give community service awards tonight.
The Swatara Township Board of Commissioners recognized Barbara Barksdale, Sharon Harris and the Friends of Midland Cemetery for their work at the Historic Landmark. 
We were thankful that Barbara and Midland Cemetery recognized members of the Swatara Township Community for our volunteer work and presented us with a Proclamation from the Pennsylvania Senate.

Hundreds of riders traveled the 20 mile Capital Area Greenbelt loop today.

Thank you to everyone that participated, planned and volunteered to make the 19th Annual Tour de Belt a success.

It was a perfect night for food, fun and fellowship in Swatara Township.

The Living Water Community Church in partnership with Dauphin County and Swatara Township opened the Oasis Playground to the public tonight.

Today we remember and honor our fallen Heroes. We also celebrated our current and former members of the United States Armed Forces as well as our First Responders.

Swatara Township Police Officer Ken Platt was recognized for his Service to the Community.

John Traino, the son of Giovanni Traino and Tara Traino sang the National Anthem in public for the first time today. He did an awesome job.

Thank you to the Rutherford VFW and everyone that made today’s event at the Veterans Circle a worthy tribute to our fallen Heroes.

We started this on 5 degree day in January. We worked everyday in all kinds of weather and wrapped up today sweating in the 80 degree temps. 
This is about High Taxes and Low Results. Failure is not Acceptable!

I just saw a TV Commercial from Neighboring Lebanon County. 
The incumbent is facing strong opposition for the high property tax rates.
Dauphin County is ……7.22 mils
Cumberland County….2.36
Lancaster County. ……2.91
Lebanon County……….3.29
Our Dauphin County Taxes are 2 to 3 times higher than surrounding Counties and we rank at the bottom in Pennsylvania in many County Service Categories.

You can change this! 
Please Vote for Tom Connolly. 
Together we can Lower our Taxes and Improve Dauphin County.
